"Felt brushed off by tech support"
I reached out about an issue with my motherboard and came away frustrated. The replies I got felt like basic copy-and-paste answers, and it didn’t seem like they really listened to what I was describing. It felt like they were just guessing instead of trying to actually help. I ended up feeling dismissed and didn’t get much useful support at all.

So, just to be clear, this only fits if your order was late and the tracking wasn’t really useful. Mine took longer than they said it would, and I kept checking for updates because the tracking didn’t give me much to go on. It turned into more of a hassle than I expected. not the best choice if you need something to arrive quickly.

"Support Came Through in the End"
I was starting to think this was going to turn into a whole saga, but support did eventually get it sorted. It took a little longer than I hoped, but fair play to them, they came through in the end

"Good PC, just a few little letdowns"
I got a custom PC from Scan and overall it’s been working fine. The build looks tidy, though one of the fans is a bit noisier than I expected and the cable routing could’ve been neater. Delivery was okay, not especially quick but not terrible either. For the price, I did expect a bit more attention to detail. Anyway, it runs games really well, so I can’t complain too much.

"Reliable place for PC parts"
I’ve ordered from Scan a few times now for PC bits and they’ve been solid overall. They’re not always the absolute cheapest, but I’d rather pay a little extra and know I’m buying from somewhere I trust. Delivery has usually been on time and everything has arrived well packed. I also like that the order emails and receipts come through clearly, so it’s easy to keep track of what I’ve bought. One order did take a bit longer than expected, but it wasn’t a big deal. I’d happily use them again.

"Decent site, but the prices let it down"
I’ve used Scan a few times in the past and they were fine, so I expected them to still be competitive on price. This time though, the parts I was looking at were cheaper on other sites, even before adding delivery. The website itself is easy enough to use and the stock seems decent, but if I’m mainly comparing on value, it’s hard to justify choosing them. Bit disappointing compared to what I expected from them.

"Packaging could’ve been better"
The box showed up a little squished, but luckily the item inside was fine. I do think they could’ve added more padding though. It wasn’t awful or anything, I just expected it to be packed a bit better. Anyway.

"Checkout security checks were oddly stressful"
I tried to buy a GPU and somehow ended up in checkout limbo. The payment seemed to go through, and then, very calmly and not at all inconveniently, they asked for extra proof before doing anything with the order.

I understand fraud checks are a thing, truly. But the whole process was slow, unclear, and support didn’t really explain what was happening. I eventually cancelled it and bought the GPU somewhere else, which was apparently the easiest security check of all.

"Wrong size at first, but they fixed it"
I ordered a case fan and they sent me the wrong size, which was frustrating. Part of me wondered if they were just trying to clear out whatever they had sitting around and hoping I wouldn’t make a fuss. To be fair, support did sort it out and got the right one sent over, but it still felt like an annoying extra step for something that should’ve been simple.

I tried using the site for a bit, finding what I needed was kind of a pain. The filters felt clunky to me, and some pages seemed to load weird or not quite right. Maybe I just caught it at a bad time, but I’m sure I spent enough time trying before I gave up and went somewhere else.

"Ordered a part that was showing as…"
Ordered a part that was showing as in stock, then got an email later saying it actually wasn’t available. Bit annoying, lol, because I needed it for a build that weekend. Customer service did get back to me, so it wasn’t a total disaster, but the wait and the mixed stock info definitely put me off a bit. Not the worst experience, just expected better from Scan.

"Checkout put me off"
I was trying to order something from scan.co.uk, and the payment bit just got on my nerves. My usual payment option wasn’t there, which I didn’t expect, and then I’m clicking around thinking maybe I missed it, but no. The whole checkout felt more awkward than it needed to be. I had the item ready and everything, but after a while I just gave up

"Collection took longer than I expected"
So... I went in to collect my order, thinking it would be quick, but I ended up waiting around for ages. The staff were polite enough, but the whole process felt a bit disorganised and it wasn’t really clear where I was meant to go. Not the best experience, to be honest.

"Warranty support could be better"
I had to follow up with them a few times to get help with the warranty, which was a bit frustrating. The process felt slower than it should’ve been, and the communication wasn’t always super clear. They did respond eventually, but I expected it to be more straightforward

"Delivery fee felt a bit sneaky"
Prices were good, but the delivery cost didn’t show up until late in the checkout, which was annoying. Felt like a sneaky little move, honestly
